Ana Gabriela Teran is the founder of Gala Octuvre and a brand & marketing consultant renowned for her innovative approach to creative storytelling across multiple disciplines. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Film Production from the University of Florida, with a focus on Art History, and a master’s in Fashion Styling and Visual Merchandising from Domus Academy in Milan.
During her time in Milan, Ana received recognition for her work in art direction, design, and film. Her award-winning sneaker design, Mars Stomper, created for Reebok’s C-Park Design Marathon, was showcased at Salone del Mobile 2019. She also designed an interactive retail experience for DIESEL’s upcycled collection launch, which debuted at Milan Fashion Week 2019. Her short film, Color, exploring themes of female menstruation, won the Marie Claire Italia BodyTelling competition and was featured in the magazine’s August 2019 issue.
Ana’s career flourished at April Studio, where she led creative projects for top luxury brands. She played a key role in Domus Academy’s Fashion Graduate Italia show, curated exhibitions for high-fashion designer Erkan Çoruh, and later took on a teaching role in filmmaking and storytelling for master’s students. In January 2020, Marie Claire Italia published her second editorial, highlighting sustainability in fashion.
Since relocating to New York in 2020, Ana has continued to push the boundaries of design and branding. She founded Gala Octuvre, blending art direction, design, and storytelling, while also leading design teams at top advertising agencies. As an Art Director at VaynerMedia, she developed innovative brand campaigns and media strategies for Olay under the client Proctor & Gamble. Today, Ana remains dedicated to creative leadership, helping brands across industries craft compelling narratives and achieve their goals.
